Kencar

The Client

We’re proud to write that Kencar is one of our longest retaining clients under our content creation and social media scheduling package, they have basically been with us since we launched! In a nutshell, Kencar provides architectural facades to an array of large establishments around the country, and due to their continued success, they are now opening their third factory!

The first time we sat down with the Kencar team they told us they really wanted to explore the potential of channels such as LinkedIn. On top of that, they really wanted to make a mark on the industry they work in. All of the activity has genuinely been a massive success. In fact, across the eternity of their digital channels, they have seen growth by over 600% in under a year. Nice.

With some exciting projects in the pipeline, we are pleased to be working alongside Kencar on their brand, from nipping into the factory on a regular basis, to hanging out at their HQ, we’re constantly evaluating how we can keep their content fresh and bigging up those already quite impressive numbers!

The Brief

As stated above, Kencar drove deep into our content creation and social media package, so we have them on a monthly retainer for their social media, and one-off payments each time we visit their factory to create more content. They like to show off their new machinery, and we can’t blame them, it’s bloody impressive! So we create stuff that ensures we compliment their manufacturing process in the form of video. A lot of stuff we have produced recently has been used on their website too.

Our goals for Kencar are:

  • To demonstrate their credibility, focusing on the uniqueness (and quality) of the machinery they use in the form of video and photography.
  • To capture the essence of the team at Kencar and what makes them different.
  • To showcase the rich diversity in various roles each staff member has.
  • To create short snippet videos of the manufacturing processes that can be used across the company’s social channels.

We’d like to tell you about one of our most recent shoots with the Kencar gang. It consisted of photographing a beautifully complex piece of machinery that was set to be implemented across their service offering, along with some shots of the newly designed, and rather impressive, factory floor. Put simply, this was important content that we needed to capture as it showed the growth and development of their business, and it received lots of good, solid engagement via LinkedIn. People were rather impressed!

The Process

As always, the priority for Kencar is to capture them just going about their business in the most natural way. We like to give those who engage in our content a window into life at the businesses that we work with. You know, the stuff that shows staff carrying out daily tasks, talking through ideas, and grafting away at different projects. For these guys specifically, we’re capturing both video and photography that can then be used across their social channels, highlighting the supreme hard work that is put in every single day, and the incredible customer service they offer!

Initially, Kencar requested we help them produce content for every other day during the calendar month, but since then, things have gone a little crazy (in a good way) and they’ve experienced some rapid growth so we have increased our activity with them.

We’re always keen to experiment with new posting techniques, testing and trying out new things to see what actually works. With our flexible scheduling packages, Kencar know they can be reactive. Yes, there’s a plan. There’s always a plan! But it needs to be dynamic to match business needs.

At the end of every shoot, we edit the photos and videos taken that day, and then we share them with the Kencar guys and girls for approval. Once we are given the go-ahead, we move onto the scheduling phase of the project. As you’d expect, we always give them the opportunity to guide us in order for us to focus on what might be the most interesting developments within the business. All of our content is approved and signed off by the client before we hit that publish button and show everything to the world.

Final thoughts

We are big fans of Kencar. Over time, they have become friends and we adore working with them. Watching them grow and develop is so wholesome. We’re excited to see what the future holds and we endeavour to continue creating content for them that does their business justice.
