Xcess Trading

The Client

Xcess Trading resell refurbished technology including phones, laptops, tablets and more to B2B clients on a large scale. Their main USPs are the use of high-end grading technology, they have space to stock mass amounts of products within their factory and have the capacity to market their services to large businesses who require stock in bulk.

We were asked to create content for them that could be used across their website and marketing materials. Due to there being so many avenues within the business, we were tasked to carry out regular work for this client, including a promotional video, explainer videos and commercial portraits.

The Brief

With this being a large-scale project, we were first tasked to produce a promotional video to showcase Xcess Trading’s main USPs and services. The key features that needed to be included were the facilities, the processes involved within the factory, the packing, fixing and quality check, specifically to use across their internal marketing material for their in-house team to distribute as they see fit.

We were also tasked to film a bulk of corporate explainer videos which outlined the quality grading process of each project, in large detail. The main aim for these videos was to educate prospective clients who were looking for more information about particular products, and how they have been professionally and thoroughly graded.

The final task to carry out within this project was commercial portraits of the team to further bolster their brand and the faces behind the business.

As a whole, the primary goals for this project were:

  • To capture the main USPs of Xcess Trading
  • To capture the high-quality facilities and technology that sets them apart from their competitors
  • To capture the mass scale of stock that can be upheld within their factory
  • To capture the explainer videos to educate customers via their website
  • To capture commercial portraits of the team to strengthen brand identity.

As part of an ongoing relationship with Xcess Trading, we are regularly asked to carry out additional content to further boost their marketing material and gain more customers.

Our Process

Our priority for Xcess Trading across the entire project was to showcase the high-quality service that you would gain when purchasing their refurbished technology. The key was to ensure that across all the content provided, there was a theme of professionalism, to ensure that the prospective customers they were targeting were from big companies who were confident enough in their services to invest in a bulk of products.

We pride ourselves on our ability to capture all avenues of the business in a way that is streamlined, on brand and high quality, whilst ensuring the team at ease in the process and continuously in the loop throughout the editing phase.

Deliverables

We delivered the promo video, explainer videos and the commercial portraits for the internal team to distribute accordingly. You can now find this content populating their website which demonstrates the high quality and unique service you will receive when choosing to purchase from them.
