Ninja Warrior

The Client

We are dead proud to have worked with Ninja Warrior Adventure since 2019. As a company, they operate venues based on ITV’s world-famous TV show. The Ninja Warriors at Ninja Warrior Adventure requested that we create some images that capture the energy, excitement, and fun of Ninja Warrior for the company’s social media channels and their website.

Due to our long-standing working relationship with Ninja Warrior Adventure, we frequently revisit to shoot fresh content. The guys have a really dynamic business so there are always new aspects to capture. We have now assisted with numerous campaigns, including helping to promote events for Halloween and Christmas, plus the multiple other events that take place.

The Brief

For Ninja Warrior Adventure, we provided a varied library of images for their in-house marketing team to utilise. We gave the team some pointers on how they could make use of the images, and they went away and shared the content across all of their marketing materials and platforms.

We were tasked with the following:

  • Course layout and highlights.
  • The excitement of the Ninja Warrior experience.
  • The amazing catering service and facilities on site.
  • The friendly staff interaction with customers, which wasn’t hard because there was lots of it!
  • To really capture and communicate the moody and industrial ‘ambience’.

Of course, as part of our ongoing work with Ninja Warrior Adventure, we’re regularly called back to take more photos and help tailor promotions, evidence course changes, promote seasonal content, and demonstrate new menu items.

Most recently, we were asked to shoot for Ninja Warriors reopening (at a distance, obviously). They wanted us to help them provide peace of mind to their customers, so we took some funky shots of their safety precautions.

Our Process

As with everyone that we work with, our overriding goal is to show Ninja Warrior Adventure in a natural, non-staged way. In our experience, and because we hate stock imagery with a burning passion, images that show people (or warriors, in this case) just going about their business are best. We pride ourselves on our casual approach that people appreciate, and it really comes off in the shots that we capture.

When we visit the guys at Ninja Warrior, we always take a team of two photographers to help with the intricate lighting needs and to ensure we get the pictures both us and the client need.

What we Delivered

Ninja Warrior now has a huge library of images that their in-house marketing team can use in a myriad of ways. Our imagery now populates their website, social media, and other visual marketing, highlighting the unique experience of Ninja Warrior Adventure!

Final thoughts

We heart Ninja Warrior Adventure, their locations really suit our style of photography! The dark, spotlighted obstacle courses and our love of gritty, high contrast images are a match made in heaven. It’s a real pleasure to showcase their uniqueness to the world.

The guys at Ninja Warrior Adventure have now been with us for quite some time, so we consider them to be a long-term client and we genuinely love working with them. They’re always keen to hear new ideas and aren’t shy in putting forward their own vision for how they want things to look. They still haven’t introduced us to Chris Kamara, but we won’t hold that against them.
