The Client:
Concept
Concept provides brackets for facades within the construction industry. They have an interesting story and a lot of depth to their organisation. They very clearly stated that they needed more great imagery that could be used to show the world what they do via social media. Concept also said they needed to renew some of the images found across their website and in their printed catalogue. We looked at everything and concluded that we had to demonstrate their position in the market as a luxury brand more effectively. They work in a competitive space so it has never been more important to look brilliant.
The unique approach to their manufacturing process meant that we could get creative. Concept nicely branded their equipment with their logo, which was good for us. It is always great when companies like this maintain that level of detail because it gives us more opportunities to capture their products. We did some pretty cool experimenting with lighting and different angles to produce some epic content, if we do say so ourselves.
The brief
Not only did Concept need some new creative imagery for the in-house team to use across their marketing channels, they also requested that we film a promotional video. We hung around with our cameras and watched them busy at work in the factory, watching the products being made and witnessing the final result. We followed this up with some photographs of their products, these were created with e-commerce in mind specifically with a white backdrop behind each product. Capturing the team at work and watching the staff interact in their natural habitat meant we really got our teeth into the essence of the firm, showcasing what they did best and the beauty of their products.
We were tasked with the following:
- Create imagery and marketing that demonstrates their high-end, marketing leading quality.
- Showcase the astronomically high standard of machinery used within the factory.
- Capture branded kit within the context of promotional video and imagery.
- Hone in on ‘behind-the-scenes’ content for bracket production specifically.
- Present a library of images and a promotional video that could be used internally to spread the word about Concept’s unique and high-quality facades.
The process
For the shoot, we spent two whole days at Concept HQ (lovely sandwiches, by the way) capturing the footage we needed for the promotional video and taking lots of images of products. Frankly, we had a lot to capture in such a short space of time, and we were against the clock to ensure we had all the opportunities to make the shoot a success. To be honest, that’s the way we like it sometimes!
The world Concept operates in is fast, this meant that we only had a small window to get what we needed to be filmed and photographed. Our approach was to take a position of really emphasising the quality control Concept implemented to create their astounding products.
Final thoughts
Concept now has a wide range of imagery to work with that evidences many different layers of their business, including the manufacturing process, their team interacting, e-commerce photography, creative photography and, of course, an epic promotional video that we’re told their Nans really enjoyed.
We can’t wait to work with them again in the future!
