The Client:

fischer fixings

fischer fixings are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of fixings, screws and power tool solutions for the construction industry. Trusted by professional tradespeople and stocked by major UK retailers including Wickes and B&Q, fischer is known globally for engineering excellence, innovation and reliability.

Founded in Germany in 1948, fischer now operates in over 30 countries worldwide. In short: if you’re fixing one thing to another, fischer is the brand you want on site.

We started working with fischer fixings UK in 2022 and are now their sole UK creative partner. We manage their organic and paid social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, launched and grew their TikTok channel, and also create and publish content for their YouTube channel. Alongside this, we produce ongoing construction and trade-focused photography, video and podcast content used across their wider marketing activity.

The brief

While fischer is globally respected for quality, the UK brand was often perceived as high quality but expensive, with a corporate tone that didn’t fully resonate with modern tradespeople. Much of the content originated from fischer Germany, which ensured consistency but didn’t always reflect the realities, humour and culture of the UK trade audience.

The brief was to reposition fischer within the UK market — not by changing what the brand stands for, but by changing how it shows up day to day.

The objective was to build a recognisable, trade-first social presence that felt authentic, culturally relevant and rooted in real job environments. Content needed to educate, entertain and add value, while supporting product launches, campaigns and wider marketing goals.

The process

We deliver monthly construction photo and video shoots alongside ongoing social media management. Content is created specifically for each platform and includes product photography, trade-led video content, product launches, toolbox talks, Q&As, stop-motion, DIY inspiration and long-form storytelling.

All content is produced in close collaboration with the fischer UK marketing team. Activity is planned in rolling three-month phases to align with campaigns, product priorities and business objectives, then executed across a range of locations — including live construction sites, residential properties, warehouses and our Staffordshire-based studio.

Social media activity is planned monthly to remain reactive to trends and conversations within the construction and trade industry. We also manage the fischer community across all platforms, keeping engagement high, responding in-brand and ensuring the tone stays human, present and relevant to UK tradespeople.

What we Do

Our partnership with fischer fixings UK includes:

  • Social media management, across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok, with a focus on organic growth supported by paid social where required.

  • Video production, from short-form social content to long-form campaign and YouTube films

  • Photography, capturing real trade environments, products and people on site

  • Influencer and ambassador marketing, working directly with trade creators to support campaigns and credibility

  • Podcast production, supporting fischer-led conversations and long-form trade storytelling

These services support fischer’s wider campaigns and events, ensuring consistent, trade-first content across every platform.

The Impact

Between 2022 and 2025, fischer fixings UK underwent a clear repositioning on social media, shifting from a corporate, product-heavy presence to one of the most recognisable trade brands in the UK construction space.

By consistently using real job settings, bold visuals and trade-first storytelling, fischer became instantly recognisable across platforms — often without the need for a logo in shot.

Instagram performance highlights:

  • Followers: 2,564 → 27,637 (+978%)
  • Reach: +724%
  • Engagement: +3,210%
  • Profile visits: +429%
  • Website clicks: +611%

Beyond the numbers, fischer built a highly engaged trade community and strengthened its position as a premium, professional brand that understands how tradespeople actually work.

fischer didn’t just grow online — they cemented their cultural relevance within the UK trade industry.

The Outcome

Through consistent, trade-first content and social media management, fischer fixings UK successfully shifted perception within the UK trade market.

The brand moved away from being seen as simply high quality but expensive, to being viewed as a premium, professional choice worth the investment — one that understands real job environments and the standards tradespeople hold themselves to.

fischer now shows up as a confident, culturally relevant brand across social, video and long-form content, with a clear and recognisable presence on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. The result is not just audience growth, but stronger brand affinity, deeper community engagement and increased relevance at key moments such as product launches, campaigns and industry activity.

This long-term partnership continues to support fischer’s position as one of the most respected fixings brands in the UK construction industry — online and on site.
