Ambitions

The Client

Ambitions was created as a sub-brand to a sister company named Foundations Beauty Academy. Ambitions offer one-day beauty industry courses to both professional beauticians and those looking to get into the industry. Their vision is to become the go-to place to increase the skill set of beauticians while offering highly sought-after beauty treatments to their clients.

They contacted us in March 2021 with a request to help them get started on social media and to capture some creative and unique content that would give them a good opportunity to stand out from their competitors. Their attention to detail and customer service truly sets them apart, along with their high-end (and rather classy) approach to their branding – which is something we were inspired by from the get-go!

The Brief

The team at Ambitions requested that we visit the academy and capture imagery of their products, courses, and client interactions. They knew that all of this could be used across their socials and on their website to help further promote their business and the courses they offer.

We were tasked with the following:

  • To capture great imagery that could be utilised across socials and the website.
  • To promote a clean and professional feel.
  • To demonstrate high-quality facilities, client interactions, and the uniqueness of the Ambitions business.
  • To shine a spotlight on the luxurious experience of participating in a course at Ambitions.
  • To help launch their social media with a months’ worth of brand awareness content.

As one of our content creation and social media scheduling clients, we make regular visits to the academy to capture fresh content to post on their socials, ensuring followers are kept up to date with all the goings at the academy. We also like to get our nails done from time to time.

The Process

We started by heading over to the Ambitions’ premises where we spent a day and a half capturing a raft of images. At this point, the launch was just around the corner so we worked together to create a stir on socials and garner interest.

We fully immersed ourselves in the business and we sat in on a few courses. This enabled us to capture the true experience of being a student at the academy, as well as the interaction between the staff and students. We also learned a thing or two about pedicures.

The array of images we captured detailed product shots, interior shots, classes in action, tutor-student interactions, and general filler imagery that will always come in handy when promoting the business. You can never have too much, can you?

Once we captured the content, we moved on to the planning, scheduling, and executing phase of our master planning. With the first few months of content nailed, we drove right into the socials, building up momentum and awareness. We wanted to hone in on the fact that Ambitions cater to a wide age range and demographic, further bolstering their aim to attract the beauticians of the future from across the spectrum.

What we Delivered

Ambitions were handed a large image bank to use across their website and for us to post across their socials. Not only do they now have fresh and unique content to make them shine bright like a diamond, as Rihanna would say, but they now have imagery that they can use across all of their marketing materials.

Final thoughts

Ambitions represent an exciting business with big, beautiful plans. We are looking forward to a future where we continue to help them look pretty on their social channels. Being in and around their business was a delight, watch this space!
